“My stay at Casa Sybil was exceptional. As soon as you approach the grounds, you know you are in for a treat. The tropical plantings are beautiful, lush and fragrant. The gorgeous airy modern home is fully equipped with all amenities. Endless pool and ocean views are spectacular. Careful attention to detail in all areas makes this a wonderful place to stay. The house is immaculate, the beds are comfortable, the linens are beautiful, the water pressure is good. The housekeeper is lovely and an amazing cook who provides delicious fresh meals. Tennis courts and beach are a short walk away. It is a feast for the senses. Indulge yourself!”

“Casa Sybil is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a luxurious holiday with family and friends! We absolutely loved the week with our teenage boys by the pool and exploring Las Terrenas and other local beaches recommended by the fabulous hosts, Stacy and David. They kindly left us a list of places to go for beaches, local sights, and activities as well as contacts to help us get wherever we wanted to go! The truth is you never have to even leave the house!

Sonia and Alfredo- graciously greet you upon arrival and instantly make you feel at home. Sonia prepared the best local dishes for dinner on days we didn’t go out. As a team they maintained an impeccably clean house & pool, including making our beds and doing our laundry (if you request this). While the house is stunning, Las Terrenas offers many beautiful beaches and quite a few wonderful bars and top notch restaurants. However, it was so lovely to sit by the pool with a cocktail in hand watching the sun setting over the ocean, listening to the faint sounds from the boys playing bocce. We’ve been back several times and its a perfect get away for a few couples to go together. We can’t get enough!!!”

Every detail of this home has been thoughtfully curated and designed with an outstanding sensibility.
This house is luxurious though without formality or pretense; it is casual, loose and exceedingly comfortable.
The layout of the house is phenomenal and the master suite will be very hard to leave….oh, and of course, the bedding is wonderful!

This house is set on a hill with beautiful views and sunsets. A perfect place to just chill by the pool—relax, rejuvenate, swim. Or, leaving the property to explore the natural beauty of this magnificent island and check out the local scene—with many great places to eat. the house is near a wonderful hike to a waterfall where you can swim and participate in local culture. There’s a chance to support the local economy with multiple stalls set up to sell some wonderful hand made items—silver jewelry set in larimar (a gorgeous stone found on the island), and wonderful tribal hand carved figures out of wood, etc.

Also, their private beach is crazy crazy gorgeous and breathtaking. When I was there, it was being filmed for a movie—obviously not something that is done on a regular basis, but speaks to the idyllic setting of their beach. It’s a short walk down the hill from the casa and is private, quiet, tranquil, clean with sparkling blue waters.—A M A Z I N G!

If you are looking for a house to stay in, I would say do not waste another moment searching, for you will not be able to do any better than this!

“5 stars. The house is beautiful and accommodations are beyond comfortable. Love the location, not too touristy with great shopping and a ton of dining options if cooking at home isn’t your thing. Love the pool and bocce court. Last but not least, close to amazing beaches and great adventures, my personal favorite is the waterfall. Highly recommend!”

“I spent the week at Casa Sybil with friends including teenagers and a seven-year-old. The kids especially liked the large bedrooms and the bunkbeds.The open floor plan and indoor/ outdoor living granted us gorgeous views of sky, foliage and sea from every room. The large infinity pool, bocce court and spacious patio afforded lots of room for play and relaxing at the same time. There was really no reason to leave the house except to go exploring or to one of the many nearby beaches- one in walking distance (tennis , too). I felt like I was at my own private resort. It was especially relaxing and enjoyable for me to have a full-time staff caring for us behind the scenes - a treat I hadn’t expected, but made a world of difference in my ability to truly relax and enjoy. The house, grounds and pool where well-maintained and spotless. Casa Sybil is the perfect spot for guests of any age and multiple generation together.”
